The tourists sites mentioned below are all close to each other. Therefore, you can visit them very conveniently in autos. Ideally a 3-nights trip should be enough to visit all the tourist spots in Port Blair, unless you are planning a visit to Havelock Islands where you can spend another 2 days.

 

Port Blair is surrounded by stunning beaches, such as Corbyn's Cove and Wandoor Beach, where you can relax, swim, and engage in water sports. The Corbyn's Cove beach will entertain you with professional photographers in case you want a photo shoot done against the backdrop of the Bay of Bengal, and artists who will make your sketch in ten minutes. The Chidiya Tapu beach is an ideal place for bird watching.

 

The town is also home to several museums. At the Anthropological museum, you will enjoy seeing interesting artifacts made by the tribal population of the Andamans. The Naval museum on the other hand will introduce you to the resources used by the country's navy. The Fisheries Museum next to the Marine Park will show you how diverse the marine world is. The Forest Museum again will show you interesting items carved out of wood. All the museums are open to tourists at a nominal entry fee and you will be surprised to know that you can use your cameras for free.

Some places of historical significance include the Aberdeen Clock, Flag point, and the Cellular Jail. The Aberdeen Clock was built in the memory of  British and Indian soldiers who defended the islands during the First World War. The Flag point marks the place where Netaji hoisted the tricolour flag for the first time.
